Entrant Bio(s)

Andria Drucker holds a MA in Education and has over 20 years of classroom teaching experience. She began her career as an elementary school teacher in Chicago, IL when the only expectation of a kindergartener attending school was to be able to name 5 shapes, count to 10 and recite the ABCs. As a teacher years ago she was doing everything for her students including zipping up their snowsuits and helping them put on mittens! She now lives in South Florida with her husband and 2 teenagers. She has been teaching in private Jewish day schools for the past 10 years. For the past 3 years she has been teaching in a multi-age, multi-level school in a Montessori inspired classroom. It is exciting, engaging and never ending but oh so rewarding! Educators have come a long way from "Reading with Dick and Jane". Her hobbies include: walks on the beach, reading 2-3 books at a time, watching movies with her family, and Pinterest. She has always wanted to be a teacher when she grows up and she still loves going to work everyday.
