Entry Narrative

Duirng this unit, students were able to apply their annotation skills as they met to discuss their Andrew Clements books. Their books were broken down into manageable sections, having some reading days, some working days, and some meeting days. They were grouped based on interest, not lexile. For students whose reading level did not match their interst level, or for students needing other accommodations, the following were made: partner reading, ability to read aloud or be read to, and enlarged text.
